Yacht Valuations & Part 1 Registry

We provide an independent yacht valuation service, providing a professional opinion for individuals and businesses alike. This can be for the purposes of Insurance, Marine Mortgages, Bank Loans, Probate, Repossession, Pre-purchase investigation, biding or ascertaining a private sale price.
Yacht Valuations, in most instances, can be carried out with the vessel afloat, on the assumption that the hull, keel(s), stern gear and rudder(s) are of a sound condition. This is acceptable for most circumstances. The most accurate valuation of a yacht can only be carried out in association with a full condition survey.
As an approved Tonnage Measurer for the Yacht Designers & Surveyors Association we are authorised to carry out measurement surveys for owners of yachts that wish them to be registered on Part 1 of the British Registry.
Registration on Part 1:
-
Enables you to prove title to your boat
-
Allows you to register a marine mortgage
-
Provides internationally accepted documentation to ease passage to foreign ports
-
Entitles you to protection from the Royal Navy and the services of British Consuls
-
Can enhance the resale of your vessel
-
Provides proof of date of build in respect of the EU Recreational Craft Directive
-
Ensures that your boat's name is unique on Part 1
